1 min readI haven’t heard anybody talking about this word specifically. This is the section of Schumer’s new legislation that got included in the NDAA as an amendment.
> The President shall make nominations to the Review Board not later than 90 calendar days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
Not a lawyer, so asked GPT4 for it’s review on this section with the full bill as the initial context. This means when it’s signed into law is when it comes into effect and that starts the 90 day timer.
If this plays out the same way years past have, that would still be December so not much of a difference really. But, wouldn’t it be cool if the process was way quicker this year? I don’t expect that to happen, but I can dream.
