On Disclosure: U.S. politicians rarely take up a cause or push legislation for the altruistic reasons they claim, but rather because their donors demand it in exchange for supporting their campaigns.
1 min readRubio is a great example: we have on record he has received several million dollars in campaign donations over the years from the NRA and he has historically supported at minimum maintaining status quo in regards to gun law reform, etc.
Therefore it stands to reason that the Congress men and women who seem to be crusading for Disclosure are being paid to.
So I am simply curious if anyone including all our favorite Disclosure journalists has looked into this in any meaningful way.
